Welcome to the Kimble family's site!

A site about the lives of Andy "Guido" Kimble and Erica (Fry) Kimble.  We hope you enjoy it.

The next piece I've made is the shoulder armor.  There are actually two pieces to it, and I've only made the first, main portion.  The second half, which isn't made yet, is an elevated lens structure, held above the light "nozzle" on this lower part.

I had to first make a foam form, an oversized stand-in for a real sholuder, to make the clay model on.  Then I had to make a complicated 6 piece mold, partly because of the complexity of the shape and undercuts, and partly because my lack of skill as a mold maker caused me to overcomplicate it further.  The results are fantastic though.
